What a fantastic month of sun we have had! Its been really busy and dare I say it brilliant fun but I am exhausted and the holidays haven't even begun yet! Whilst the warmth of summer can be so welcome for many of us, I remember when I was pregnant, swollen and hot and bothered, I just wanted it to snow. I hope its not been too warm for those of you expecting.

I remember this time of year as a child being really exciting and looking forward to the change in routine. Hopefully the holidays are sufficiently filled and the weather will hold for a great holiday season. The family holiday is not far off and I am excited about the time together and getting some "me" time as well, I hope we are not all too tired to enjoy it.

For those of you going into your first year of summer holidays, I hope its fun for all concerned. I remember getting it completely wrong the first year of Pre-school, the weather was awful and the children were really hard work. Its lovely to have them back but its important to get some adult time too so if you feel its what you want arrange some time out, I didn't and should have done.

So have a great month, I hope family holidays are good for those of you who are off and summer holidays with the kids off are good for others. Please do share your experiences, tips, advice and opinions, it really helps us and other members.
