I am a mother of a 5yr old that was diagonised with retts syndrome. A very rare syndrome that only affects girls. Since her diagonises its very rare to find others with the same disability so I can relate to.

I have a five year old daughter who has severe autism.She has taught me so much,and i feel blessed and thankful that I am her mum.Admittedly its been beyond difficult,days and nights i cried trying to accept the diagnosis.I have learnt so much and she is a wonderful child.I want to offer you all my support as you do find a way to cope and manage.Regards Rebecca x

My son was born in January 2006 with VACTERL Syndrome, he has missing vertibrae fron his spine, an imperforate anus, a hole in his heart a badly deformed right hand, an extra set of ribs and his stomach was connected to his wind pipe as opposed to his food pipe which ended in a pouch. He has had at least 20 hours of surgery and still has lots more to come but he is doing well.

I have a 5yrs old daughter and she has sensory intergration disorder, and is also praxic if anyone wants advice or they can give me advice much appreciated. Also im hoping to start my own group for this disorder as people have been very ignorent to it and even my own doctor didnt know what it was.
