I went into labour at 24 weeks and 5 days and I was held off by drip and given steriod injections, my daughter was born at 25 weeks and three days weighing 1 lb 6 oz, she spent 3 1/2 months in nicu and scbu, in the Royal in Belfast, where we had up and more downs but with the dedication of the staff , we now have her home and she is doing extremley well. I was due in August 2006 and Erin arrived in April 2006.

After 2 weeks of constant bleeding, I suddenely when into labour on October 22 2006,after 25 minutes my little boy was born.Kieran was born 28 weeks gestation weighing 3lbs at Leeds General infirmary. He is now in intensive care and is doing really well, the nurses say we might get him home before christmas.

I had my baby at 34 weeks due to my waters breaking he was very ill with breathing and feeding probs but after 2 weeks came home he weighed 5.4 at birth and was 5.1 when he come home he is now 4 weeks old and weighs 6.2 and is doing fine

My first baby was born at 34 weeks, weighing 5lb 7, following my waters breaking early. She is now 3 and you would never know she was premature. In my second preganacy my waters broke at 35 weeks and I went in to spontaneous labour that night. My son was born weighing 6lb12 and from my prevois experiencei wa not too worried about him. He actually spent longer in hospital, was a poorer feeder and took longer to catch up with his milestones. However, gain, he is now 100% and is 18 months old. I am currently pregnant with my third and final baby. I am 28 weeks pregnant and keeping everything crossed. I am having steroid injections at 32 weeks 'just incase' to mature the babies lungs and i am finishing work next week. I am anxious because it is stressful having a premature baby, especially when you have children at home to worry about. Wishing everyone love and luck with their babies

I had my son 7wks early after being induced, my waters broke at 29wks. Liverpool Womens Hospital were amazing and I will never be able to express my thanks to them for the care received by myself, my baby boy and our family. My beautiful boy has jusy celebrated his 1st birthday and is doing brilliantly!!!
