Vegetable shepherd's pieMix cooked red lentils, carrots, peas and parsnips with a portion of gravy. Top with mashed potato mixed with a little grated cheese and serve. Puree or mash according to the age of your baby. Vegetable saladAdd cooked, chopped new potatoes, peas, carrots and french beans to some home made cheese sauce and chill. (You could also use ready made cheese sauce from Cow & Gate.) Puree or mash according to the age of your baby. Lamb and vegetable dinnerPour gravy over cooked lamb. Serve with cooked suede and potatoes. Puree or mash according to the age of your baby. Lentil casseroleMakes approximately 4 to 6 portions. This recipe is NOT suitable for freezing.
Fish & Greens
Make a white sauce by putting butter into a saucepan then adding flour to make a roux. Whisk in the measured milk and add the cheese. Remove from heat. Flake the fish into the sauce, combine the vegetables and blend. My daughter Erin love fish and really enjoys getting her Omega 3 from this recipe From Helen Brainy Mash
Place the red onion and pepper onto a sheet of foil, lie the salmon on top. Fold foil over and seal edges. Roast at 180c for approx 15 mins. Remove salmon and flake, checking for bones. Blend with onion, pepper and mashed potato. From Helen |
