Our words of encouragement
|
The shock of suddenly being responsibility for the
day-to-day care of your baby can be overwhelming especially
as they don't come with any form of user manual!
This page is about sharing some of your words of encouragement.
"I think it would be a great opportunity to remind first
time mums that each child each home each parent etc
is different. When my son was newborn I found it very
frustrating receiving different even conflicting advice
sometimes from midwives, health visitors family etc.
As your child becomes older you will be the specialist
in looking after him/her and when you hit problems you
can only ask as many people as possible what they did/do
and see which suits you/your child/your home life."
"I just wanted to share that I felt the second time
was easier and I was more relaxed."
"Just try to relax and listen to the advice given.
I had four and every one of them was different but it
certainly got easier."
