On this page we have included links to a support organisations that can help you explore your choices should your pregnancy be unplanned. Unplanned PregnancyThis web site has been written by a mother who went through nine months of mental anguish during pregnancy and had no-one to turn to. This site aims to offer women in similar circumstances advice, support and understanding. You do not have to be a first-time mum or even particularly unhappy with your pregnancy, as this site shares the stories of a wide range of mums, offers information on ante and postnatal depression, as well as exploring your choices if you have an unplanned pregnancy. There is also information on abortion and adoption for women who do not want a baby, as well as information for those women who decide to keep the baby. email: guinness_maiden@hotmail.com www.unplannedpregnancies.co.uk British Pregnancy Advisory Service (bpas)bpas is a registered charity and leading provider of abortion services in the UK, with a national network of consultation centres and clinics. When bpas was formed, shortly after abortion was legalised in Britain, the National Health Service was unable to provide abortion care for all who needed it. NHS abortion services remain limited and so bpas continues to provide affordable, high quality care for those who cannot, or choose not to, access the NHS. Today, they collaborate closely with the NHS and provide a range of reproductive health care services, free of cost to the user, on behalf of the NHS where local arrangements allow.
