You can also catch Jakers! on the CBBC channel from 9th January until 10th February 2006. Whilst the trio keep younger viewers entertained, Wiley the Sheep™, introduces some sheep cool to his rural flock. Wiley an American import voiced by Mel Brooks brings a humour which is a favourite with the parents, making Jakers! true family viewing. In Autumn 2006 Wiley’s wife Shirley the Sheep will be joining the flock played by the self-styled “America Queen of Comedy”, celebrity grandparent Joan Rivers, whose woolly wit will keep the kids and parents giggling all the way through.
In addition to the daily afternoon catch-up with Piggley and the gang, Jakers! fans can now go to Raloo Farm whenever they like with Jakers! DVD, ‘School Days in Tara’ – in store now across the UK and Ireland. And that’s not all! Pig out on a selection of fun treats! You can now buy your very own Jakers! character cuddly toy from selected stores and a range of Jakers! books: ‘Piggley and the Magic Doll’, ‘Spooky Storytellers’ and ‘Piggley’s Pals’ (a board book), as well as the Jakers! Activity Book and the Jakers! Colouring Book. Kids will squeal with delight as there is now a second version of Jakers! ‘Tell Me A Story’ Education Programme is back by popular demand. This free interactive resource created with educational advisors encourages school children to create, produce and record their own Jakers! adventure using the characters from the show.
