Spectrum is green, all systems are go! Earth’s greatest hero returns to save the day in thirteen spectacular episodes released on 18 September. Series 2 of the New Captain Scarlet comes out in full colour and glorious CGI in 4 volumes or as one red-hot Series 2 box set courtesy of ITV DVD.

Spectrum team must once again face the inscrutable alien enemy, the Mysterons in a battle for the very existence of Earth. Leading the fight is Captain Scarlet; on a mission to Mars, Scarlet and Captain Black encounter an alien city, under the impression that they are under attack; Black launches a missile into the city destroying it. However, the city miraculously reassembles and a counter attack is launched and Black is killed. Back on Earth, Black is resurrected to become the Mysteron’s agent of destruction and Scarlet is transformed into an indestructible being. Both men are now locked into a battle for the very existence of the human race.

Joining Scarlet are the Spectrum team based above the Earth on Sky base, lead by Colonel White, with Captain Blue, Captain Grey, Captain Ochre, Captain Magenta, Lieutenant Green, and flanking them in their White Flacon fighters are the Angels; Harmony, Destiny and Melody. To aid our valiant team the Spectrum crew have a full complement of the latest, state-of-the-art vehicles and weaponry; the Cheetah patrol car equipped with jet-thrusters, the Rhino Tactical Response Unit with twin cannons, the Bison Martian Rover for missions on the rough Martian terrain and he super-light and manoeuvrable Stallion Raid Bike with mounted machine guns and missile launchers.

Prepare to be thrilled as Captain Scarlet and the Spectrum team fight against the forces of evil that present deadly mutant diseases, computer viruses that seem to cause suicide, an unidentified space-ship from Mars, a deadly duel between Captain Scarlet and enemy Captain Black on Russian ice, an incident with China that could start World War Three, The Angels under fire from Vampire jets and a deadly yellow gas that creates a replica Captain Scarlet. All this and more will keep you glued to the screen throughout the 13 exciting episodes apart from when you are looking over your shoulder, just to check!

Only individuals who are registered or register with the site before 30th September 2006 will be eligible to enter the prize draw.

Open to UK Residents only

Only persons over the age of 18 years old are eligible to enter this competition. Only one entry per person is permitted.

There is no cash alternative.

The judge's decision is final.

We reserve the right to display the names of prize winners on the site. No other personal identifiers will be used. Anyone who does not want their name to be displayed should email the site once they have registered or submitted an entry request.

Prizes will be held for 2 weeks from the notification date above. If a prize is not claimed within this time it will be forfeit and a draw will be made to select a winner.

Receipt of a registration or entry request is deemed acceptance of these rules.
