VIKINGS INVADE LEGOLAND WINDSOR

Brand new ‘Land of the Vikings’ area opens with two exciting new rides

LEGOLAND Windsor opens on 17 March for one of its biggest seasons ever! An incredible new area, Land of the Vikings, is set to open in June with two fantastic new rides. At its heart will be the Vikings’ River Splash, our biggest and wettest ride to date so enter at your peril and prepare for a wet and wild voyage!

Viking Invasion

Nearly £5m has been invested in the new Land of the Vikings and it marks the largest expansion since the park opened in 1996. Families can set sail through uncharted waters as they surge downstream, in a fantasy Viking world created by millions of LEGO bricks! Young adventurers can join the Viking fleet by jumping aboard the Longboat Invader ride to find their sea legs then graduate to our huge flagship ride, the Vikings’ River Splash, where they’ll be in for a good soaking! Back on dry land, they can step inside the new Loki’s Labyrinth and unravel the mystery of our Nordic-themed hedge maze.

Heroes Wanted!

This Easter treat the family to a truly unique day out at LEGOLAND. With over 50 interactive rides, live shows and attractions, all set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland, there’s something for everyone. Our philosophy is totally geared to letting children be the heroes so at LEGOLAND children aged 3 -12 can become brave knights, taming dragons in Knights’ Kingdom, courageous firefighters at the Fire Academy or skilled construction workers at the Digger Challenge.

Brand New LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Workshop

At LEGOLAND, there are plenty of opportunities for learning through play. For 2007 is a brand new Active Learning Programme which uses a specially-designed version of the new LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT technology and makes programming robots easy and fun!

This year’s brilliant Special Events programme kicks off with an ‘Open Season’ weekend, featuring loveable characters from the blockbuster movie. For the Easter holidays catch LEGO Batman and friends at the spectacular After Dark Laser Show. Barney, Bob the Builder and Pingu star in the LEGOLAND Live! summer music festival and back by popular demand is the Amazing Machines weekend, complete with monster trucks and motorcycle stunts. The October half term holidays end with a bang at our hugely popular fireworks event which runs over six nights.

Only individuals who are registered or register with the site before 28th February 2007 will be eligible to enter the prize draw.

Open to UK Residents only

Only persons over the age of 18 years old are eligible to enter this competition. Only one entry per person is permitted.

There is no cash alternative.

The judge's decision is final.

We reserve the right to display the names of prize winners on the site. No other personal identifiers will be used. Anyone who does not want their name to be displayed should email the site once they have registered or submitted an entry request.

Prizes will be held for 2 weeks from the notification date above. If a prize is not claimed within this time it will be forfeit and a draw will be made to select another winner.

Receipt of a registration or entry request is deemed acceptance of these rules.
