Dear Reader, I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the dark nights visiting our site. What better entertainment can you ask for! As usual, the news every day has something in it that affects us, our children, their childcare and education. I have looked up some of the topics for you and hope that you find them of interest. I found an article on the proposed change to the vetting procedure used to assess potential parents before embarking on IVF treatment. I went through this, and at the time felt cross that I had to be checked out as to whether I would make a suitable parent, just because I needed medical help! It is such a hard process to go through, that I am sure that only the very committed would embark on it. If I was able to conceive naturally no one would have checked me out. If you have any views on this please let me know as I would love to feature this issue on the site. Other articles are about childcare provision and the new Child Bill, how our children are being affected by electronic media, breasfeeding in public and a little more lighthearted article on how we name our children. November NewsStress Questionnaire The results of our stress questionnaire will be available early next year. I particularly am keen on addressing this issue, as I know from personal experience that stress can have a powerful effect on how we run our lives. Pete Cohen, the author of Habit Busting, and GMTV’s Life Coach is running a conference on Saturday 26th November 2006 titled Sort Your Life Out™. Pete is inspirational in his work, so have a look at his website. If you are unable to attend the conference you can listen to him via his site and I know that you will start to look at things more positively from listening to him. We have new pages on Christmas, and a chance to send a SantaGram, so don’t miss out get in early for the children and get them something special from Santa. We also have a special competition running on our Christmas pages, you can win the DVD "Christmas with the Kranks" and "Santa Sings" music CD for you and the children. Christmas PagesThe competition page this month has gone mad! There are load’s of great prizes this month, and look out for December too! November CompetitionIf November and thought of dark nights are getting you down, have a look at our holiday camping pages, there is a great offer for you from Canvas Holidays. Or perhaps you are searching for information and support from the site. Let us hear from you via the web submissions the better the content the better the site. Please let me know if you think we need to address any particular issue. There is so much to cover, and I would love to know what the “real parents” are having concerns, issues and perhaps have solutions to. I look forward to hearing from you Best wishes,
