HALF TERM HORRIDAYS

CITV CHANNEL AND CITV ON ITV1 HORRID HENRY

Mischievous, naughty, cheeky but irresistibly charming Horrid Henry just can’t help himself when it comes to causing a bit of mayhem! Half Term Horridays will be hosted by our impish hero and in-between fronting the event, viewers will get a chance to watch brand new episodes of Horrid Henry on CITV and the CITV Channel. In swimming lessons Henry has to try and get out of his least favourite lesson but it looks like Soggy Sid will make him take the plunge?! Another new episode has Henry pitted against Rich Aunt Ruby and Stuck Up Steve at a posh restaurant, this is exactly what Henry doesn't want, especially when he’d rather be getting stuck in at Whopper Whoppee. But with a little encouragement from Dad and a delicious plate of snails to look forward to, Henry decides to make the best of it.

It’s going to be a Horrid-tastic Half Term!

CITV CHANNEL SCRATCH AND SNIFF’S DEN OF DOOM - Brand New to the Channel

Brand New to the CITV channel Scratch and Sniff those exceedingly naughty Hyenas from Stephen and Holly’s Saturday Showdown will be cooking up a recipe for disaster in Den of Doom. Both cunning and ruthless they will pose difficult questions to a group of five friends in their dreadful Den of Doom, an underground cave with plenty of surprises in store. Once inside the cave, Scratch and Sniff will tell each member of the group a series of weird and wonderful facts. However, one Hyena will be telling the truth, the other one will be telling porky-pies. But which one is it? Do you believe Scratch when he tells you Alektorophobia is the fear of Chickens? Or maybe you think Sniff is correct when he claims the temperature of a fart is 37 degrees? Who knows? But if you get it wrong, you’re in for a nasty surprise and a very high fall! Staying with the high fall point, the five contestants will be standing on platforms that reach out over the 500 metre deep Chasm. At the very bottom is a Gunk Pit, filled with bubbling slime, scary spiders and spooky skeletons!

CITV CHANNEL GRIZZLY TALES FOR GRUESOME KIDS

The award-winning series of cautionary tales for lovers of squeam is back!

Promising more toe curling moments, Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids creeps back onto CITV’s screens this week with all manner of bothersome characters. Guaranteed to fill your head with dread, these bad-time bedtime stories serve as modern-day cautionary tales to naughty children everywhere, and this series’ misfits are no exception to the rule Take Jamie for example, he insists on eating just greasy junk food until he explodes! If that’s not bad enough once the School Cook has scraped him off the walls she makes chicken nuggets out of him! Or Scabby, she is not a useful human being, she doesn’t contribute anything to the human race. She just takes, takes, takes. Until the Recyclops gets hold of her and recycles her!

CITV CHANNEL ELIMINATOR

Breathing down your neck, waiting to take you out is the Eliminator a scary creature whose sole aim is to stop teams of kids winning a dream holiday! Presented by Michael Underwood, Eliminator sees teams of three young friends go head to head with their worst nightmare to win an ultimate dream holiday - it could be diving with dolphins in the Bahamas, an activity holiday in Spain or a weekend living a pop star lifestyle. The game is split into three zones - earth’s crust, underwater tunnel & in the clouds - linked by a high tech lift moving between them. The kids have to answer multiple-choice questions in a variety of categories ranging from sports & news to TV, history & music. For every correct answer, they progress along the squares of the board game & into the different zones.

While not forgetting that hot on their trail is the Eliminator, whose aim is to do what he does best and eliminate them from the game.
