Body Mechanics - Female

A good place to start is on the outside. While some women can label up parts of their external genitalia, do not
worry if you are one of those who cannot. Don't worry either if parts of your genitalia appear larger or smaller
than in the diagram. As with other parts such as nose, ears and hands, genitalia come in many different sizes.
On the Inside

Ovary
|
There are two ovaries in the body. Ovaries have a store of eggs (ovum). Each month one, or sometimes
more, is released by one of the ovaries. Ovaries are about the size of an almond.

Fallopian Tubes
|
Once the egg is released it travels down through the fallopian tube towards the womb or uterus
|
|
Womb/Uterus
|
The womb or uterus is where the baby will eventually grow. Before pregnancy, it is the size of an upside
down pear, but during pregnancy it grows to accommodate the baby. After the pregnancy, the womb shrinks
back down to its pre-pregnancy size.

|
Cervix
|
This is at the top of the vagina and at the bottom of the womb. During pregnancy it provides a barrier
to the outside. Later in labour it opens up to allow the baby to pass through and down into the vagina.

There are four parts of the anatomy on the outside, which consist of the clitoris, opening to the vagina, vulva
and perineum.

total nightmare trying 2 think of something 2 do for next week. decided on having a quiet, relaxing day on phoebes actual birtday...just seeing grandparents ect in the morning. then on the saturday will be havig a small tea party for a few little friends, no more than 5, and just for an hour/hour an half so plenty of time 2 munch cake and sarnies and sing happy birthday-maybe the disney channel too!...but not too long so birthday girl wont be cranky and house wont b 2 wrecked! should be fun! x x x
