Pint Sized Puppy Power!

Get ready for Pint Sized Puppy Power as Scooby-Doo and his mini Mystery Inc. mates grace the small screen in the brand new Scoobtastic spin off series A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volume 1.

Premiering on DVD on 5th February 2007 from Warner Home Video, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo follows the delightful mystery-solving antics of a frisky pint-sized Scooby-Doo and friends Shaggy, Daphne, Velma, and Fred as kids growing up in Coolsville in the U, S of A!

Join them on their first 4 adventures: A Bicycle Built For Boo, The Sludge Monster From the Earth's Core, Wanted Cheddar Alive, and The Schnook Who Took My Comic Book.

A Pup Named Scooby Doo

Cuter doesn’t mean cowardly though, oh no siree! The gang still encounters ghosts, ghouls, goblins and of course plenty of mystery, but now they run the Scooby-Doo Detective Agency out of a tree house, Shaggy has a paper round to earn his pocket money and there’s no Mystery Machine as they’re all too young to drive!

What’s unique to this series is that the ghosts and monsters are slightly less scary, the clues are more obvious and Velma walks the young viewers through the process of figuring out the identities of the thieves just prior to their revealing. Despite this, the children are true to their later personalities as teens: Fred is full of bravado, Daphne is as girly as ever, Velma solves the clues and Shaggy and Scooby are both still as cowardly as ever r’oh!

A great addition to any Scooby fan’s collection, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volume 1 is a lovely gentle introduction to Scooby for the little ‘uns whilst die hard Scooby fans will love the opportunity to trace the gang and their entertaining antics from the very beginning!
