Sunsail Clubs babies - Minnows Club (ages 4 months to 2 years)

We know how important your baby’s routine is and on holiday and at a Sunsail Club we fit in with you. Minnows aged children have a fully equipped nursery, with indoor and outdoor play areas, with all the equipment needed for your child’s daytime requirements.

Our fantastic nannies - working at a ratio of 1 NNEB/CACHE qualified nanny to 3 children - will give you a full update on your baby’s day from eating and sleeping patterns to the playtime activities they enjoyed. Your child will have an allocated key worker for the week to maintain continuity of care and a point of contact for you.

We also provide cots, baby baths and high chairs if you need them as well as a 24-hour kitchen available for parents’ use, because we know that the little ones have needs beyond 9 to 5.

Sunsail Snappers Club (2 to 4 years)

Under the close supervision of our trained and caring nannies (ratio of one nanny to four children), toddlers have a great time at the Club nursery, with specially designated indoor and shaded outdoor play areas, sandpits and children’s pools. Your child will have an allocated key worker for the week to maintain continuity of care.

Activities include

• ice-cream treats in the afternoons.

New for 2007! - 4 year olds are special!

We recognise that if your child is four and has already started school they may benefit more from being placed with an older age group so, from 2007, you are free to choose whether they join the Snappers Club or the Sea Urchins while on holiday with us.

*Due to age restrictions, 4 year olds in Sea Urchins will not be allowed to participate in the kids’ Sailing scheme - we will organise alternative activities for these children.

Sunsail Sea Urchins Club (5 to 7 years)

Treasure hunts, drawing and painting, fancy dress, quiz competitions, craft activities and supervised swimming - it’s non stop activity for Sunsail Sea Urchins, all fully supervised by our trained activity assistants (ratio of one activity assistant to 6 children) and with all their meals included during the holiday.

Out on the water, Sea Urchins also get a chance to try out sailing, windsurfing and other watersports using our special kid’s equipment. They also get to play short tennis with training from our resident tennis coaches.

Sunsail Gybers Club (8 to 12 years)

Our Gybers want action all the way so from dinghy sailing to windsurfing, canoeing and swimming your child will be on the water everyday if they want. Onshore activities include tennis with our resident coaches, competitions, team games and day trips, all under the supervision of our team of specially trained activity instructors.

Sunsail Beach Team (13 to 17 years)

We give teens the independence they want on holiday - action packed or laid back - it’s up to them.

The beach team is completely flexible allowing them to sign in and out as they please and decide exactly what they want to take part in from the weekly programme. From informal instruction on the water with our qualified instructors to beach games, tennis matches and volleyball, we make sure there is something active and exciting on offer to enjoy every day. However, chilling by the pool or in our chill out zones is fine too.

Evening childcare

We realise that for many childcare needs continue into the evening and so have a range of options to suit the specific requirements of each family.

All Clubs have baby listening monitors (subject to availability), ideal for peace of mind when dining at the Club, available to parents free of charge. A babysitting service is also available until midnight each night to look after your children in your hotel room, at £8 per hour per family. Your children will be cared for by our Clubs staff who are First Aid trained and CRB checked, and those in the Snappers and Minnows Clubs will be babysat by qualified nannies only.

Every Med Club also offers an Activity Club (charged by the hour) for the over 5s running from 6.30pm to Midnight on non-inclusive evenings, a great option for those children who do not require a one-to-one babysitter. Based in the Kids’ Club area, the children follow a programme of fun activities, with facilities for younger children to sleep if they need to.

On inclusive evenings a FREE video club will run from 7-10pm, showing films from our kids’ video library for children aged 3 and above, supervised by staff who are First Aiders and CRB checked. Children must be toilet trained to attend video club.

All evening childcare is subject to availability, on a first-come-first-served basis, and is bookable at the Club.
