Wholesome Rice Cereal

1. 2 oz brown rice powder
2. 225ml water
3. a little formula/breastmilk

To make the rice powder, use a food processor to grind brown rice. If you prefer, you can use white rice - but brown rice is far more nutritious.

Bring the water to a boil, then add the rice powder, stirring continuously with a wire whisk.

Simmer for around 10 minutes, stirring constantly throughout to prevent the rice from sticking.

Finally, stir in enough breast milk or formula to give the ideal consistency for your baby.

Once your little one has been introduced to fruit, you could always add a little of his favourite puree!
